Job Summary
Position Title:Assistant Softball Coach (Hourly Part Time)
Description:This is a part time, 12-month, non-faculty position at 19 hours per week work schedule. The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist Head Coach in recruiting efforts and setting up tours of college.
 - Assist Head Coach in practice planning, training, conditioning, and weight training.
 - Assist in maintaining and organizing inventory of softball gear, uniforms, and equipment.
 - Works cooperatively with personnel in athletic department, attend athletic department meetings and activities, and always represents ABAC positively and professionally.
 - Assist in coordinating facility needs for visiting teams.
 - Performs other duties as requested by the Head Softball Coach
 - This position will comply with Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, NAIA and Southern States Conference rules and regulations.The Head Coach will work cooperatively and responsibly with other ABAC faculty and staff. The position will support the student-athlete concept and will demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete. This position will perform additional duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
- First Aid and CPR Certification Required within a month of hire.
 - Prior Collegiate Coaching or Playing experience preferred.
 - High School Diploma, some college prefered.
