Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:Responsibilities include teaching courses in the psychology curriculum (which may include online, evening and or weekend classes); providing clinical supervision to graduate students (if licensed); advising students; maintaining active service and research agendas; seeking/securing external funding to support research endeavors; serving in advisory positions for student organizations; and participating in committee work in the governance of the college and the psychology program.
Essential Duties Summary:- Teaching across the curriculum at the undergraduate and/or the graduate levels
- Providing clinical supervision to graduate students (if licensed)
- Maintaining an active research agenda, including seeking and securing external funding
- Department, university, professional, and community service
- Advising and supporting students
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned

Hiring Range:$58,622.40 - $76,209.00
Education:Earned doctorate in Psychology.
Required Licensing/Certification:Licensure as a Psychologist or Licensed Specialist in School Psychology or eligible for immediate licensure.
The ideal candidate is a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Specialist in School Psychology with experience providing clinical supervision.
Knowledge of:
- Psychology theory, research, and practice
- APA and/or NASP Code of Ethics
- Texas laws related to the practice of psychology
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
Skill in:
- Problem-solving and decision-making.
- Multitasking and time management.
- Verbal and written communication.
- Effective customer service.
- Make significant contributions to departmental growth in the areas of curricular development, teaching, scholarly activity, and research funding.
- Demonstrate commitment to undergraduate and graduate education in an academic environment.
- Work with a diverse student and faculty population.
Teaching experience at the college or university level preferred.
Working/Environmental Conditions:- Prolonged standing and/or walking.
- Handling light weight objects.
- Using or carrying equipment.
