The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing a personal injury litigation caseload from the filing of a complaint through trial. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
About the Job:
- 2-5 years of personal injury litigation experience as an attorney.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Day-to day handling of cases from filing of the complaint to trial.
- Communication with opposing counsel.
- Taking and defending depositions of parties and witnesses.
- Making court appearances.
- Reviewing drafted documents from staff.
- Auditing litigation case files.
- Trial preparation.
- Settlement negotiations.
- Settlement/dispositive proceedings [Mediations, arbitrations, etc.]
