Hooks Meng & Clement (HMC) is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing Northern Nevada office in Carson City. Our firm specializes in Industrial Litigation, representing a diverse clientele, including employers, insurers, and third-party administrators.

Responsibilities:- Represent clients in court and before government agencies.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence, as well as conduct thorough legal research.
- Be part of a collaborative team as well as work independently.
- Use of the electronic billing system, Clio, and case management system, Filevine.
- Strategize and plan meticulously with and for clients, ensuring attention to detail in all cases.
- Ability to meet or exceed the monthly billing requirement.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, not just representation.
- Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable, flexible, and dependable.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment on multiple cases and with multiple deadlines.
- Our office is in Carson City, NV. This is an in-office position.
