Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Handle defense litigation matters from intake through resolution, including discovery, motions, depositions and trial support.
• Manage commercial litigation matters for clients including contract disputes, business torts, and corporate defense.
• Coordinate with senior partners and collaborate with teams to develop case strategy, build defenses and advocate for clients.
• Draft pleadings, motions and briefs, engage in motion practice and participate in hearings and trials.
• Contribute to client development and business growth as your case load matures.

Qualifications

• J.D. from accredited law school and admitted to practice in Texas.
• Litigation experience in defense-side matters and/or commercial litigation; 3-7+ years preferred depending on level.
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team and take initiative on case strategy and client service.
