MID-LEVEL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

A top-10 AmLaw firm is seeking a talented mid-level Associate Attorney with experience in Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice, particularly in the pharmaceutical and medical device space, to join their Litigation Practice. This is a high-impact opportunity for a driven litigator to take a central role in complex products liability matters at a top-tier national firm.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record

Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing

New York-barred candidates preferred

3+ years of substantive litigation experience, including products liability litigation, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm

Extensive experience writing briefs, particularly Rule 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence and Daubert issues

Familiarity working with the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry is a plus

Experience with case development and strategy

Demonstrated ability to draft and review discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda

Comfortable working directly with clients and experts

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, writing, and strategic thinking skills, strong attention to detail, good business judgment, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Key Responsibilities

Support pharmaceutical and medical device industry clients throughout all stages of litigation, particularly in products liability cases

Draft and review complex legal memoranda, briefs, motions, and discovery responses

Develop and execute strategy for Daubert / Rule 702 challenges and other critical motion practice

Engage with clients and experts to manage factual development and expert testimony

Participate in depositions, client strategy sessions, and overall case management

Collaborate with a strong team of attorneys to provide comprehensive client service, ensuring that all client needs are met

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $250,000 - $370,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors

Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available
