Prestigious creditor rights law firm is seeking a Maryland-licensed entry–level Associate Attorney. No prior experience required although a professed interest in real property and/or creditors’ rights law is a definite plus!

The Associate Attorney role provides new hires with an opportunity to learn about and familiarize themselves with our various practice areas, as well as demonstrate their ability to meet performance expectations. We are seeking a candidate with the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and produce accurate and high-quality work product in a fast-paced volume-based environment. The candidate must be able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Maryland Bar Required.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes our benefits package. We are looking to hire a candidate with the aforementioned bar membership(s) who is local, within commuting distance of our Hunt Valley, MD office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Detailed review of documentation related to MD foreclosures to ensure compliance with state and federal law

- Communicate with client and courts in a timely and professional manner

- Attend court status hearings, mediations and litigation

- Manage portfolio of title curative and litigation matters related to MD foreclosures and other default related issues.

- Prioritize and manage a portfolio of active files and complete daily tasks to ensure legal action exceeds clients’ timelines and expectations

- Day to day handling of the Maryland foreclosure pre-sale, post-sale and/or accounting processes

Requisite Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

· High level of motivation with ability to work independently

· Ability to multitask and be a team player

· The ability to take changes as a positive and work towards constant process improvement

Maryland Bar Required.
