Associate Attorney (Fast-Paced Firm)Position OverviewWe are looking for a driven and adaptable Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. Our firm handles a high volume of complex cases, and we seek a candidate who excels under pressure, quickly adapts to changing demands, and is passionate about delivering top-tier client service amidst a bustling legal environment. This role offers tremendous opportunities for growth and professional development within a highly collaborative and energetic team.Key Responsibilities· Manage a demanding caseload encompassing several areas of law, primarily in family law (divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and adoption), but also including civil, probate, and criminal defense. _Please note: You may not be required to practice in each of those areas, but that can be discussed during the interview process. _· Prepare and file legal documents efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a time-sensitive setting.· Conduct thorough legal research and develop strategic analysis to support rapidly evolving cases.· Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and depositions.· Communicate promptly and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a fast-moving workflow.· Maintain organized and up-to-date case files and demonstrating attention to detail.· Work closely with other attorneys and support staff to adapt to case developments and contribute to trial strategy.Qualifications· Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.· Admission to the state bar (in good standing).· 1-3 years of experience preferred; we also welcome focused, quick-learning recent graduates with a genuine interest in family law and protecting individuals during their most difficult times.· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond swiftly and clearly.· Demonstrated organizational skills and comfort managing a high volume of active cases.· Professionalism, discretion, and empathy—especially when navigating sensitive or urgent matters.· Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software; ability to master new technology rapidly.Compensation & Benefits· Competitive salary/compensation based on experience and performance.
