Our firm is growing, and we’re looking for an empathic, experienced personal injury attorney to help clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. You’ll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience, and an authentic passion for helping people. Compensation:$125,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
- Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information
- Appear as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation
- Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case
- Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary
- State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory
- A bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required
- Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is a necessity
- A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired
- Computer proficiency is essential
