Associate Attorney - Student Services and Disabilities (SSDLPG)
SSDLPG is looking for candidates with 0-5 years of experience with strong research, writing and people skills. The group’s practice area encompasses virtually all issues concerning students in pre-school-12th grade. Candidates would be supporting senior associates, of counsel and partners in the SSDLPG.
The group focuses on and needs particular expertise in matters concerning special education, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Americans with Disabilities Act, etc. Our Firm provides daily advice and counsel to our clients on these matters as well as supporting our clients in all aspects of student related litigation and interactions with the California Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH), California Department of Education (CDE) and Federal Office for Civil Rights (OCR) regarding disability and discrimination matters concerning students.
