ARC Group is seeking an Associate Bankruptcy Attorney to join a growing law firm in Alexandria, VA. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for attorneys with some bankruptcy experience looking to further develop their career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Position Overview:
As an Associate Bankruptcy Attorney, you will assist in handling a variety of bankruptcy matters, guiding clients through the legal process, and gaining hands-on experience in all phases of bankruptcy cases. This role offers exposure to litigation, client interaction, and courtroom proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and file bankruptcy pleadings and related documents.

• Assist with Proofs of Claim, Motions for Relief, Objections, Responses to Objections, Payment Change Notices, Settlements, and Adversary Proceedings.

• Participate in mediations, depositions, and hearings (telephonic and in-person).

• Meet with clients to provide updates and guidance.

• Support senior attorneys on special projects and case strategy.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Licensed and in good standing with the Maryland and Virginia State Bars.

• 1+ year of bankruptcy experience preferred.

• Must reside in the Greater Alexandria or Baltimore area.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality client service and professional growth.

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
