Employment Litigation Associate – Seattle, WA

Our client, a highly respected law firm, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join their Seattle office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to grow their practice under the mentorship of top-tier partners, while working on complex employment litigation matters in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employment litigation cases from start to finish, including:
    • Responding to pleadings and discovery
    • Taking and defending depositions
    • Drafting and arguing motions
    • Participating in mediations and trial preparation
  • Provide day-to-day counsel to clients on a wide range of employment law challenges
  • Draft and revise employee handbooks, workplace policies, and training programs
  • Educate clients through learning programs that help businesses navigate employment-related challenges
  • Leverage cutting-edge legal technology to provide innovative client solutions

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admission to the Washington Bar is required
  • 4-6 years of employment litigation experience
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and case management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Growth mindset with a commitment to client service and collaboration
  • Self-starter who thrives in both independent and team-based environments

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary (compensation based on experience, skills, and internal equity): $180,000 - $210,000.
