Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of CHOP residents and fellows as well as medical students from the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include research in areas such as beta cell biology, insulin signaling, pituitary development and disease as well as many other areas of research. Applicants should have a track record of extramural funding, have an established research program and an outstanding record of publications.
