Entry-Level Attorney – Labor & Employment Law

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Attorney to join our growing Labor and Employment Law practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a new attorney eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment and make a meaningful difference for employees facing workplace challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in representing employees in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda
  • Participate in client meetings, depositions, and court appearances under senior attorney supervision
  • Support trial preparation and, when appropriate, contribute to trial or settlement proceedings
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented, in-office setting

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar (or eligibility for admission)
  • 2-3 years of experience in employment law preferred
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated interest in labor and employment law
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 annually, commensurate with experience
  • Bonuses: Additional compensation potential based on case outcomes (e.g., favorable settlements or verdicts)
