EMPLOYMENT LAW ATTORNEY
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES

A well-established and respected litigation firm based in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a full-time Employment Attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, particularly in handling wage & hour claims, class actions, and complex employment litigation.

This is a hands-on role for a driven attorney who is confident managing cases from intake through settlement and thrives in a collaborative, high-performance legal environment.

  • Wage & Hour Disputes

  • PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) Claims

  • Class Action Employment Litigation

  • Wrongful Termination

  • Harassment & Discrimination Claims

  • California Labor Code Violations

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage employment litigation cases from pre-litigation through resolution

  • Draft complaints, motions, arbitration demands, pleadings, and supporting briefs

  • Propound and respond to discovery in a timely and strategic manner

  • Take and defend depositions, including those of parties, witnesses, and experts

  • Analyze and summarize medical records and employment documents relevant to the case

  • Argue motions and oppositions in court or arbitration settings

  • Work closely with clients, co-counsel, and firm partners to advance litigation strategy

  • Ensure that all procedural deadlines are met and cases move forward effectively

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of employment litigation experience

  • Strong knowledge of California employment law and procedural rules

  • Experience in wage & hour, class actions, PAGA, and discrimination matters

  • Excellent legal research and writing skills

  • Proven ability to manage discovery, draft pleadings, and argue motions

  • Confident in deposition and courtroom settings

  • Familiarity with complex, high-stakes litigation a plus
