Litigation Attorney

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Attorney to join our legal team serving New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have expertise in catastrophic injury and medical malpractice and will be responsible for providing legal advice, representation, and support to our clients.

Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver strategic legal counsel and lead high-stakes litigation from initial intake through trial and appeal, advocating for clients in catastrophic injury and medical malpractice cases
  • Develop case strategy, conduct legal research, manage discovery, and conduct depositions
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and represent them in court as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed legal counsel.

Qualifications: 

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • 8+ years of experience of litigation experience, with a strong focus on medical malpractice and catastrophic injury
  • Deep understanding of medical standards and liability issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
