Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Senior / Audit Associate to join our dynamic team in Pittsburgh. This hybrid position involves working both remotely and on-site, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to our auditing processes while maintaining a work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and financial reporting, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audits of financial statements in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Prepare and review audit work papers and supporting documentation
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members during audit engagements
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and management
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2-6 years of experience in auditing
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
