Automation Engineer at Unisys Corporation

What success looks like in this role:

• Proficiency in programming languagessuch as Python, Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, or Go.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience withcloud platforms(e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity withDevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise indatabases(SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Knowledge oftesting frameworksand writing unit/integration tests.
• * Breaks down functional and business requirements into tangible, clear and estimable objectives, providing recommendations to management and project team members.
• * Writes end-to-end automated tests to provide code coverage for business-critical components.
• * Ensures quality, performance and adherence to specifications of assigned development tasks and adjacent technology solutions.
• * Works with team members to ensure design, development and execution align with and support adjacencies and adhere to established architectural standards.
• * Notifies team or technical manager of variances from plans and identifies changes in scope or work.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and

• 5-8+ yearsof professional software development experience.
• Proven track record ofleading projects or mentoring junior engineers.
• Experience inagile development environments(Scrum, Kanban).
• Hands-on experience withsystem performance tuning and scalability
