Job Title: Automation Technician
Job Description

The Automation Technician will work with a variety of automation equipment, including rotary and inline indexing assembly machines, hot foil printing machines, pad printing machines, and robotics. This role involves maintaining and monitoring automation systems to ensure product quality and process compliance. The technician will also perform changeovers of automation equipment and troubleshoot, identify root causes, and execute necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

• Work with rotary and inline indexing assembly machines, hot foil printing machines, pad printing machines, and robotics.
• Maintain and monitor automation systems to ensure product quality and process compliance.
• Perform changeovers of automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot, identify root causes, and execute repairs as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing area.
• Fill in for machine operators during breaks and lunch as necessary.

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical principles, and practical troubleshooting.
• Experience with fabrication and process theory in plastics and robotic systems.
• Ability to improve processes and operate manufacturing operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a clean and GMP environment is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, GMP environment focused on cosmetics. The company offers both day shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM and night shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
