We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ASE-certified Level A Automotive Technician with 6+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, with expertise in gas engine repair, automotive electrical systems, and powertrain diagnostics. Pay is flat rate, and this role involves working on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and performing at their best. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining high-quality and safety standards.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues effectively.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive service and repair is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Ability to work on a variety of vehicles, newer and older.
- Experience with automotive electrical systems and powertrain diagnostics is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics effectively.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are advantageous.
