JF Restaurants is seeking passionate and experienced Back Servers to join our esteemed team at Hamlin House.

About the Role:

The Back Server plays a critical support role in the Front of House team, ensuring that all guests receive seamless, attentive service. This position works closely with Servers, Food Runners, and the kitchen to maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized dining environment, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Servers in providing efficient and polished service throughout all meal periods.
• Clear and reset tables quickly and quietly between courses and after guests depart.
• Refill water and other beverages as needed; support pre-bussing duties throughout service.
• Deliver bread service, amuse-bouche, and other accompaniments with attention to detail and timing.
• Stock service stations with necessary items, such as silverware, glassware, napkins, and condiments.
• Ensure tables are properly set with appropriate items according to service standards.
• Support food running duties when necessary, delivering dishes promptly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness in all front-of-house areas including service stations and dining room floors.
• Communicate effectively with the Server and kitchen to ensure correct and timely delivery of orders.
• Assist in resetting the dining room at the conclusion of each service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to take direction well and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
