Baker Position at ONE65

We are seeking an experienced Baker to join ONE65’s talented Culinary Team.  The ideal candidate must be willing to work and thrive in a fast-paced, vibrant and positive environment.  We offer the opportunity to work in a professional kitchen with a passionate Pastry Team and to master a wide range of French baking techniques.  

ONE65 offers a great opportunity to work with experienced Chefs.  The ideal candidate is skilled in French bread and viennoiserie production and is willing to provide the utmost of their craft. This position requires dedication, reliability and technique perfection.

multi-level culinary concept, and showcase. ONE65’s bread and viennoiserie is a

key component of offerings for our guests.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all varieties of French-style bread and viennoiserie production
  • General Oven Duties (Checking dough conditioner)
  • Preparing all needed materials and ingredients
  • Responsible for scaling and shaping of all bread, loaves, and viennoiserie
  • Sanitation procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of work station and kitchen
  • Keen knowledge of production methods and organization of bread production
  • Must be able to prioritize and finish all tasks assigned for the daily baking
  • Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner
  • Inform management when equipment is not working properly and manage when food supplies are getting low
  • Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste
  • Perform other related duties such as team and schedule management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Culinary degree and preferably 5+ years’ experience (training and work) in French bread and viennoiserie production
  • Practice of all safety and sanitation standards is necessary
  • A Food Handler’s Certification is required and can be facilitated
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., work early a.m. hours and stand for long periods of time is required

Compensation:

Variable, depending on experience.
