Job Description
Schmackary’s is the official cookie of Broadway. We are a unique cookie shop that serves over 85 varieties of creative cookie concoctions and other scrumptiously delicious baked goods and sweet confections.
Producing thousands of perfectly baked cookies consistently each day is the key component to the success and future of Schmackary’s, and our talented bakers are the backbone of our business. We are looking for bakers who have a passion for baking, an attention to detail, and have a strong work ethic needed to prosper in this fast-paced environment.
Applicants must also be committed to exceptionally high standards for cleanliness, organization, and quality control. Creativity and passion are a must while paying attention to our strict methods and standards. Following precise recipes is essential, paying very close attention to our methods and processes.
Prior experience (at least 1-2 years) in the food industry is required, preferably with an independent bakery, café, or similar establishment. Culinary training and a NYC Food Protection Certificate are a major plus.
EVENING AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST. APPLICANTS WITHOUT WEEKEND AVAILABILITY WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
