Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

*Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

*Create a welcoming environment

*Knowledgeable of wine & cocktails offered

*Beverage inventory

*Bar set up, tear down and preparation of garnishes and mixes

*Stool and Service Bartending

*Cash handling

*Provide responsible service of alcohol

*Assist guests with enquiries

*Review daily reports, arrival's, VIP's and groups in house

*Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
*Minimum of 1 yearexperience requiredas a Bartender in a fast-paced, high-end bar / luxury propertyand/or substantial Fairmont food & beverage experience (minimum of 6 months)in a high volume bartending capacity
*Ramp Certified and Mixology certification an asset
*Operational knowledge and proficiency in Point of Sale System
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Highly responsible & reliable
*Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, while working cohesively as part of a team
*Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
*Constant standing and walking throughout shift
*Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
*Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
*Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
*Ability to stand and be mobile for up to 8 hours
*Ability to move quickly and efficiently

Visa Requirements: Must have proof of valid U.S. work authorization.
