Battery Technician at TEKsystems

*Battery Swap Project - Entry-Level Opportunity in Data Centers* We're looking for motivated individuals to join a *Battery Swap Project* where you'll help replace approximately *9,000 UPS batteries* in a data center environment. Each battery weighs about *110-120 lbs*, so this is a *hands-on, physically active role*-perfect for those who enjoy staying busy and working with their hands.
*No prior experience? No problem!* You'll receive *on-the-job training* plus *formal online training through Enersys* to set you up for success.
*What You'll Do*
* Assist with battery replacement in data centers
* This is a traveling role you will need to be comfortable using your own vehicle
* Work with basic hand tools
* Learn about DC Power Plant systems and cabling
*Schedule*
* *Hours: Mon-Fri* 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with potential 1-2 hours of overtime daily)
* *Training:* Initial online Enersys training provided
*Requirements*
* Able to lift heavy items (110-120 lbs)
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Reliable transportation
* Compliance with drug test and BGC
* Bring your own basic hand tools

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
