Job Description

This is a FULL-TIME position. The Business Development Center (BDC) oversees all inbound and outbound calls that help to maintain and grow the Service Department. Many customers call in with questions about car services and to make appointments. Our BDC acts as both the first and last points-of-contact to guide these inquiries and follow-up with customers after their maintenance appointments. Every day you'll learn something new!

We are looking for someone who has a friendly demeanor over the phone and is able to let their personality shine through.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to all inbound calls and internet chats
  • Provide guidance to customer questions and build rapport
  • Strategically make appointments based on customer needs
  • Conduct reminder and follow-up calls
  • Encourage customers to fill out surveys
  • Sell repairs to customers who initially declined necessary work
  • Train with Service Advisors to understand the business

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills and professional manner
  • Maintain composure in high pressure environment
  • Multi-task during peak times of high volume calls
  • Spanish-speaking is preferred but not mandatory
  • Organized in tracking follow-up calls
  • Ambition for commissions
  • Willingness to learn new systems such as CRM tools
  • Punctuality is a must

Supplemental pay

  • Commission ranging from $500 to $1,500, based on performance and service metrics.
