Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to join our dynamic Adolescent Department. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescents and their families navigating recovery. The clinician will provide direct care through family therapy, comprehensive assessments, group and individual therapy sessions, and facilitation of the Parent Project program.
You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in behavioral health, while upholding Cottonwood's mission and embodying our core values in every aspect of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy services to adolescents and their caregivers.
 - Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
 - Facilitate Parent Project workshops, equipping parents with tools to support their teens’ recovery journey.
 - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
 - Collaborate with internal teams, schools, and external partners to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
 - Participate in supervision, case consultations, and team meetings to support clinical development and quality care.

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
 - Licensure in the state of New Mexico as an LMSW, LMHC, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent (associate level licensure may be considered).
 - Experience working with adolescents and families in a clinical setting preferred.
 - Certification or experience facilitating the Parent Project is a plus.
 - Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills.
 - Training can and will be provided.

Compensation:
· $52,000.00 – $79,040.00 DOE
- Monthly allowance towards health benefits.
