The role of an E-Commerce Fulfillment Team Member (Order Processor) is to get product to the customer as fast as possible and is a critical function within our logistics. Youâll have the opportunity to positively impact the customer experience by ensuring orders are packed and sorted quickly while maintaining product quality and freshness.
The Order Processor is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders, maintaining order records, and ensuring timely communication with internal departments. This role plays a key part in supporting the flow of goods from order entry to fulfillment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Pick items for customer orders accurately and quickly, meeting service and shipping time standards.
- Properly prepare, pack, and sort customer orders for shipment using correct materials in a timely manner.
- Meet pick and pack productivity expectations.
- Complete return-to-stock tasks according to best practices.
- Monitor supply levels and communicate needs to leadership.
- Properly use equipment while following safety best practices.
- Manually load outbound orders into third-party carrier trailers.
- Leverage appropriate escalation tools to resolve fulfillment issues; notify leadership as needed.
- Execute end-of-day procedures.
- Follow all safety guidelines, operating procedures, and product freshness and quality standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned based on business needs.
