Bilingual Japanese-English Front Desk & Office Coordinator (Body Shop)

Location: Torrance, CA 90501
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible, with preference for availability until 6:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $23$25/hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist walk-in customers during vehicle drop-off and pick-up
Provide updates on repair status via phone, email, and text (including photos when needed)
Answer customer inquiries and schedule appointments
Create invoices and help with simple office paperwork
Communicate with the shop team and ownership (primarily in English)
Act as a dependable point of contact for long-time Japanese-speaking customers when the
owner is away

Requirements:
Japanese language proficiency (required)
Professional and approachable appearance; familiarity with Japanese cultural etiquette is a plus
English communication skills for internal communication
Spanish is a plus, but not required
Availability to work until 6:30 PM is preferred
Friendly personality with a strong sense of customer service
Interest in cars or willingness to learn industry basics quickly

Schedule:
Flexible 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM
Full-time preferred
Part-time also available depending on coverage needs
