Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit:The mission of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is the preparation of diverse students as exemplary, culturally responsive professionals and leaders in the fields of speech-language pathology and audiology. Position Summary:- Assist with the administration of language assessments to Latino preschool children (training provided) at preschools in the Greensboro and High Point areas.
- Assist with data entry
- Experience with children
- Experience with data collection and entry
- Ability to closely follow lab procedures /protocols
- Native-like fluency in both English and Spanish (for Bilingual research assistants)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation to and from preschools
- CITI certification (UNCG Basic Course/Student Researcher Modules/Human Research) or willing to complete certification prior to starting the position
Background in communication science disorders, early childhood education, education, or psychology preferred
