Billing Specialist
100% on site Cayce, SC
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)
About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to handle billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance claims. This position involves processing claims, researching denials, posting payments, and communicating with patients, providers, and payers.
What You’ll Do:
* Submit and process outpatient claims accurately and on time
* Research and resolve claim denials, rejections, and posting issues
* Verify insurance eligibility and update patient records
* Generate and review reports for outstanding or error claims
* Communicate professionally with payers and patients
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in medical billing or healthcare reimbursement preferred
* Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance claim processes
* Detail-oriented, organized, and professional communicator
* Familiarity with billing software and clearinghouses
