Osteria Mozza is presently conducting a search for a wine-focused Beverage Manager to join our dynamic management team. This individual will work alongside our bar-focused Beverage Manager while also being responsible for category management of the wine program.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Restaurant FOH Managerial experience 
  • Beverage Management experience with a strong focus on complex and dynamic programs, Italian wine experience, a plus!
  • Experience in control of beverage costs and expenses, maintaining the cellar and the wine collection, management of purchases, and maintaining relationships with purveyors and suppliers.
  • Must have exceptional skills in guest services as well as staff leadership 
  • High functioning multitasking ability and organizational skills 
  • Must have an exceptional knowledge of Italian wine
  • High level of expertise in all facets of wine knowledge and wine service 
  • Operational skills in Excel, Word, & CTUIT, as well as accounting and cost-management 
  • High functioning command of the English language, as well as basic knowledge of relevant languages in the field of wine.
