Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine (PLFSOM) The Department of Medical Education at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso – Paul L. Foster School of Medicine seeks a full-time biochemist and/or geneticist to join our interdisciplinary team of medical educator faculty. The successful candidate will work with fellow basic scientists and clinician medical educators to develop and deliver a highly integrated clinical presentation-based medical curriculum. Medical educators also engage in research and service activities based on individual interests, credentials, and experience. The Department of Medical Education houses many state-of-the-art educational spaces, including a 5000-square-foot gross anatomy lab and a 2700-square-foot molecular and cell biology lab for teaching and faculty-mentored student research experiences.
