Bookkeeper at Resource Recruiting of MA

Established financial services company in need of an experienced bookkeeper with aspirations to expand their career in the accounting field. Position Summary: We’re seeking a Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and payroll. This role sits between a traditional bookkeeper and a CFO — ideal for a professional looking to expand their accounting responsibilities and grow into a Controller position. Key Responsibilities: Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Oversee payroll administration (ADP) and ensure compliance with tax filings. Prepare financial reports for management. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Maintain accounts payable and receivable records. Collaborate with external auditors, tax preparers, and consultants as needed. Assist in implementing and optimizing accounting processes within QuickBooks and ERP software. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred). 3+ years of accounting experience. Proficiency with QuickBooks, ADP, and ERP systems.
