As a Branch Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll be responsible for initiating mortgage loan applications through existing Member relationships, as well as through new business development initiatives.
Location: Enjoy variety in your week by splitting your time evenly between our Streamwood and Carol Stream branches. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with two great teams and build relationships across both locations.
What You'll Do:
- Connect with existing and prospective Members via branch referrals, closedloan lists, other lead sources-and initiate loan applications.
- Educate Members on current mortgage rates and the full range of lending services CCU offers.
- Actively engage with assigned branch teams and participate in community events to boost outreach and sales opportunities as well as represent CCU at various functions to uncover new business opportunities.
- Set clear expectations for borrowers and work collaboratively with both the Member and operations teams to ensure a smooth and timely experience.
- Provide superior customer service and deep product knowledge to build and maintain strong Member relationships.
- Ensure loan applications are entered accurately and completely; maintain records and report regularly to management.
- Identify crosssell opportunities and use inperson, phone, email, and written communication to help branch business grow. Assist in developing promotional strategies to meet sales goals.
- Stay sharp on new products, selling techniques, and market trends while adhering to realestate lending laws and regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field-preferred
- At least 3 years' experience in mortgage lending-minimum
- In addition, banking experience and 2+ years' experience in customer service or a related area is a plus!
- High proficiency and comfort level with Encompass, Optimal Blue, MS Office and other systems and software is preferred
- Strong relationshipbuilding and communication skills
- Detailoriented, proactive, and comfortable balancing outreach, education, and application processing
- Knowledgeable about lending laws and regulations and committed to compliance

Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $$20.1644 to $30.24 per hour. This role is eligible for sales incentives. A specific salary offer considers factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
