Responsibilities

  • Preparation and Setup: Set up the breakfast buffet and prepare hot and cold food items.
  • Restocking: Continuously monitor and restock food, beverages, silverware, and condiments throughout the shift.
  • Guest Service: Greet guests, answer questions, handle complaints professionally, and clear tables.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the dining area clean, which includes cleaning spills, mopping floors, and sanitizing tables and equipment.
  • Inventory: Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies for the next day's service.
  • Teamwork: Work with other team members and assist with training new attendants as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous food service or hotel experience is often preferred but not always required.
  • Skills: Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills are essential.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work early mornings, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Certifications: A food handler's permit (such as ServSafe) is a plus but can be acquired after hiring.
