Building Technician at Consolidated Communications
Job Description
Responsibilities
Classification: Non-Exempt, Bargaining
Maintenance of all HVAC units; inlcudes daily maintenance to emergency situations at all CCI buildings in Illinois. May assist with building maintenance i.e. roofing and electrical.
Qualifications
- Electrical knowledge
- Sheet metal fabricator experience
- Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record; CDL preferred / not required
- On call 24/7
- Carpentry knowledge
- Electrical knowledge
- Must be able to read blueprints
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must to be certified and/ or licensed in at least one of the following Building Trade Specialists as recognized by the local Illinois Authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) with a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience.

Salary
Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $26.13 - $31.40
