Work closely with the burn center nurse manager for all staff related issues, all bylaws and operating procedures/policies. Oversee all therapy disciplines (PT/OT/Speech) with input in training, scheduling and patient care. Responsible for scheduling and oversite of all providers for inpatient and outpatient including trainees. Collaborate with other divisions including trauma and plastic surgery. Foster interest in burn surgery in addition to teaching and mentoring, the burn center supports 2 one-year fellow positions. Complete autonomy to determine wound closure options of all types (CEA, BTM, Integra, recell). Complete oversite of a healthy burn foundation developed via philanthropy that produces equipment and research funding annually. Grant Funded?
