Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $53,500 - Midpoint: $66,900 (Salaried E8)

Department/Organization: 502306 - Procurement Services

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: The Business Systems Analyst I documents, installs, analyzes, and/or maintains operating system(s) used for the business purpose of assigned area. Provides technical support and training to users concerning system software and utilities. Serves as subject matter expert for system. Serves as liaison to the central Office of Information Technology (OIT) for advanced support needs.

Additional Department Summary: Plays a key role in the implementation and optimization of Workday’s Procurement, Expenses, and Strategic Sourcing modules. Performs as part of the Procurement Services implementation team. Under close supervision, collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and support configuration, testing, training, and change management efforts. Ensures that business needs are met while aligning with leading practices and organizational goals.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; OR associate's degree and two (2) years of IT experience; OR High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of IT experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, supply chain, or related field. Workday certification in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing. Experience with Workday Procurement, Expenses, or Strategic Sourcing modules. Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle, expense management, and sourcing strategies. Experience with supplier onboarding, contract management, and spend analytics. Familiarity with change management and training methodologies. Knowledge of public sector or higher education procurement practices. Two (2) years of experience in procurement or ERP implementations.
