What’s a typical day as a Cabinet Maker II? You’ll be:
Fabricating aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints, design, and engineering drawings
Assembling and finishing cabinet shells, including installing hardware and applying laminates, veneers, and trim materials
Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble parts with precision
Maintaining compliance with all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
Tracking work and parts using the company’s material tracking system
Supporting process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma techniques
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
A High School Diploma or GED
Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, products, and tools
At least 2 years of experience in cabinetmaking
Experience in the aerospace industry (preferred)
Familiarity with Gulfstream inspection and process specifications (preferred)
You’ll also need to:
Be able to read, write, and understand English
Be physically able to climb ladders, work in small spaces, and lift up to 40 lbs
Be comfortable working any shift
Be computer literate
