Hours & Pay:

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (First Shift)

Pay Rate: $18.00 and up, based on experience

Employment Type: Temp-to-hire opportunity

About the Role:

As a Calibration Technician, you'll play a key role in testing, calibrating, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic meters. Your expertise will ensure compliance with technical standards, customer requirements, and production goals-all while keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate and troubleshoot a variety of mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic meters and accessories following established procedures.
  • Perform and document calibration results accurately on test sheets, data cards, and reports.
  • Conduct special tests and calculations to meet specific customer or sales order requirements.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and calibration standards.
  • Use precision instruments such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and frequency counters to verify accuracy.
  • Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on calibration and testing equipment.
  • Perform hydro testing and calibrate master meters and test standards as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure products meet quality and performance specifications.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or Associate Degree in electronics, instrumentation, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of calibration, testing, or metrology experience in a manufacturing or technical setting.
  • Strong understanding of calibration principles and industry standards.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and routing documentation.
  • Basic math proficiency and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift 5-25 pounds as needed.
