BriefDescription:


The Care SystemLiaison (CSL) will be the point of contact promoting andrepresenting an epilepsy product for the treatment of Individualswith Developmental Disabilities (IDD) with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome,Dravet Syndrome, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex in Long Term Care (LTC)facilities, the community housed patients, and personnel affiliatedwith assigned health care accounts. The CSL will execute provider-,practice-, and facility-level strategies as pre-specified in thestrategic plan for the LTC system of care. The CSL will work withthe Director, LTC to execute commercial strategic initiatives withaffiliated providers, practices, some LTC pharmacies, andfacilities. All strategies executed by the CSL will align withpatient and account needs in addition to brand and corporateobjectives and strategy. The execution of this strategy will driveimpact for patients, add value for HCPs and increase performanceJazz Pharmaceutical's epilepsy product in Texas, Louisiana,Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Mississippi.

TheCare System Liaison will own working relationships withneurologists, other important practice-based HCPs affiliated withthe IDD/LTC and community-based accounts, staff affiliated withtargeted LTC pharmacies, nursing groups, and facility providers andstaff. The CSL will work to alleviate barriers to prescribingmedications for appropriate patients and enhance the availabilityof Jazz Pharmaceutical's epilepsy product.to patients. The CSL willbe fully compliant during all sales/promotional activitiesregarding, state and federal regulations.

TheCare System Liaison will be assessed on how well he/she achieveskey objectives which anchor to the CSL role and implements his/herportion of the strategic plan for the business unit(BU).
 

EssentialFunctions


• Developrelationships with practice-based HCPs affiliated with the IDD/LTCand community-based accounts, staff affiliated with targeted LTCpharmacies, nursing groups and facility providers, staff withinlong term care accounts
• In partnership with theDirector, Long Term Care, develop an account plan with clearobjectives and targets
• Provide insights to evaluatecompetitive activity, identify key opportunities, and developspecific account or market objectives and tactics that optimizebusiness performance
• Participate in local business andcustomer planning sessions and reviews with management and other BUmembers
• Partner with Director, Long Term Care and otherrelevant BU members to design account-specific strategies thatsupport local pull-through of commercial strategies
•Attain objectives relating to his/her execution of assignedportions of the plan and achievement of goals for therole
• Develop a robust internal support network thatinfluences brand strategy and executes tactics through frequentmeetings and interactions
• Work cross-functionally withthe LTC team to implement plans aligning to the CSL role
•Accumulate a deep understanding of needs and opportunities withaffiliated providers, practices, and facilities, share informationand relevant insights with LTC and BU colleagues
•Collaborate transversally with Government Affairs and Policy, FieldSales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Brand Marketing businesspartners
• Strong cross functional leadership, strategicthinking, business planning, communication skills, along with theresults orientation, and business savvy to manage a complexnational and regional market evolution
• Proactivelyreview performance trends, plan execution and customer needs andopportunities with LTC and BU colleagues
• Manage accountsby providing and/or facilitating disease state education, market,and product knowledge to increase appropriate productutilization
• Support national, regional, and local LTCand IDD related organizations

RequiredKnowledge, Skills, andAbilities


• 10+ yearspharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• 5 years’experience in an LTC large account access settingrequired
• Successful biotech/pharma product launchexperience with a documented track record of exceedinggoals
• Demonstrated business acumen and a track record ofsustained performance in exceeding goals and achievingobjectives
• Proven experience working within institutionscalling on interdisciplinary care teams and within private practicesettings
• Strong analytical skills with the provenability to effectively analyze data and appropriately integrateinto strategic planning
• High learning agility anddemonstrated scientific acumen
• Outstanding customerrelationship, interpersonal and communication skills with theability to effectively work with diverse audiences and influencecross functionally
• Must have excellent communicationskills (verbal and written)
• Highly proficient inMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook,CRM)

JazzPharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitablecompensation practices and we strive to provide employees withtotal compensation packages that are market competitive. For thisrole, the full and complete base pay range is: $148,000.00 -$222,000.00

Individual compensation paid withinthis range will depend on many factors, including qualifications,skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinentfactors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensationaligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, withinthe established pay framework and our Total Compensationphilosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influenceindividual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on aregular basis.

At Jazz, your base pay is only onepart of your total compensation package. The successful candidatemay also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus orincentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance withthe terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or IncentiveCompensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants inaccordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity IncentivePlan.
