Primary Function: Responsible for constructing formwork, installing blocking and nailers, building temporary partitions, and installing division-specific specialty items.
Job Duties:
- Read and interpret plans and blueprints to ensure accurate work to specifications.
- Measure and calculate material quantities and sizes required for the project.
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber or other materials to precise measurements.
- Install wooden structures and add fixtures and fittings as specified.
- Prepare and maintain work sites, including cleaning and organizing materials.
- Install concrete accessories and place and finish small amounts of concrete as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management to ensure successful project completion.
- Adhere to M. B. Kahns Safety Program, OSHA guidelines and Company policies, procedures, and standards.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Capable of performing physical labor and other strenuous tasks.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Proficiency with power tools and machinery.
- Punctuality, reliability, and strong work ethic are essential.
