Overview:

Carpenter- Sentara Norfolk General Hospital

Inspects, repairs, and maintains many types of systems associated within the carpentry field reads and interprets schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and specifications; operates hand tools and power tools safely and according to manufacturers' instructions; uses protective measures to minimize safety risks to self and others while performing job duties; maintains parts, supplies, and equipment.

Education

• High or Trade School

Certification/Licensure

• VA or NC Drivers License (Required)

Experience

• High or Trade School Diploma
• 3 years Carpentry experience
• Drivers License in good standing

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
