What’s a typical day as a Cash/Claims Processor? You’ll be:
Billing medical claims, applying cash, and working the aged trial balance to fix and resubmit claims to insurance
Managing and tracking the flow of cash processes to ensure timely application to outstanding invoices
Training associates on cash processing, including research, application, and documentation of payments or denials
Completing EFT setup applications and addressing any related issues
Acting as a point of contact for cash or Filebound-related questions
Participating in meetings to provide process insight and updates to internal and external customers
Supporting payer relationships and providing frequent updates to management
Working pre-bill queries to ensure accuracy and minimize denials
Researching and resolving insurance denials within timeframes
Running reports and queries (AS400) and analyzing data in Microsoft Excel
Supporting collection and receivable activities, including adjustments and analysis
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
3+ years of vision or medical billing experience (preferred)
High school diploma required
Knowledge of vision insurance benefits, claims coding, and cash application
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
High level of confidentiality, integrity, and work ethic
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a team-oriented, performance-driven environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A passion for continuous improvement and customer service excellence

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (through Dec 31, 2025; start ASAP)
Shift/Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
