The Role
As a Catering Sales Specialists, your focus is driving new business and expanding District’s footprint in the Atlanta market. You’ll be the face of District to venues, planners, and clients—turning prospects into long-term partners and ensuring every event delivers on our promise of exceptional hospitality.
This is a role for an upbeat sales professional who thrives on prospecting, pitching, and converting opportunities into lasting success—all while being part of a team that knows how to work hard and have a great time doing it.
What You’ll Do
- Own and exceed annual sales goals across weddings, social, and corporate events.
- Prospect, network, and develop new client relationships with venues, planners, and direct clients.
- Position District as the go-to partner in the Atlanta catering and events market.
- Craft proposals, lead tastings, and negotiate deals to close business.
- Collaborate with operations, culinary, and hospitality teams to deliver what you’ve promised.
- Build repeat business—no client should ever be a one-time client.
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of sales or business development in catering, hospitality, or events.
- A proven track record as a Rainmaker—driving leads, closing new business, and exceeding revenue goals.
- Fearlessness in outreach: cold calls, networking, and high-touch follow-up.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- A balance of confidence and kindness—unapologetic drive paired with hospitality excellence.
- Entrepreneurial spirit—you don’t wait for opportunities, you create them.
Compensation + Benefits

- Competitive Pay: base salary + uncapped commission + performance-based bonus (total compensation $90k to $125k+)
