Job SummaryThis position provides support for the college's mail, central receiving and inventory control functions.This is a part time position 20 hours per week. This is a partially benefited position.

ResponsibilitiesSorts and processes incoming mail - 40%
- Sorts, identifies, and delivers mail to college departments.
Receives and logs packages - 25%
- Receives, checks-in, and logs packages in software system.
Prepares outgoing mail - 15%
- Ensures that outgoing mail has proper postage.
- Ensures mail is processed and posted in a timely manner.
- Operates and maintains postage meter.
-Creates Monthly postage report.
Performs a variety of related duties - 20%
- Unloads, stores, and distributes large equipment using forklifts and heavy equipment handlers.
- Moves and stores campus, classroom, and office furniture.
- Assists in setting up for special events when needed.
- Assists in managing inventoried items.
- Stores documents for shredding.
- Maintains vehicles and equipment.
- Assists with surplus pick up.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Other Required Qualifications
- Less than one year of related experience required.
- Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
