About the Role: The part-time Central Registrar plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining accurate and comprehensive records for all clients and services within the social assistance framework. This position ensures that all registration processes are conducted efficiently, securely, and in compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies. The Central Registrar acts as the primary point of contact for data entry, verification, and retrieval, facilitating seamless communication between departments and external agencies. By maintaining meticulous records, the role supports the delivery of high-quality social assistance services and contributes to informed decision-making and reporting. Ultimately, the Central Registrar helps uphold the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive client information while promoting operational excellence at DPHS.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with standard office software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data entry, record management, or administrative roles, preferably within social services or healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity navigating electronic medical records.
  • Experience working in social assistance or healthcare environments.
  • Knowledge of relevant social assistance programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the registration and enrollment of clients seeking services, ensuring all data is accurately captured and entered into the system.
  • Verify and update client information regularly to maintain current and reliable records.
  • Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the smooth flow of information and support service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and organizational policies regarding client confidentiality and record-keeping.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients and staff regarding registration procedures and record status.
