Central Sterile Processing Educator (Direct Hire)

White Plains Hospital – Montefiore Health System

20 Davis Ave, White Plains, NY 10601

Full-Time | Days (Mon–Fri, 7 AM – 3 PM; weekends/holidays as needed)

Salary Range: $73,019 – $109,528 per year

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of sterile processing experience in an acute care setting, including decontamination, tray assembly, sterilization, and case cart assembly.
• 1–2 years of experience as a departmental educator or in a leadership role (Lead Tech or Supervisor).
• Certification Requirements:
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) – Required
• Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) – Required or within 1 year of hire
• Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) – Required or within 1 year of hire
• Certified IAHCSMM Instructor or equivalent – Preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to slide, transfer, push, and pull 50 lbs or more.
• May be exposed to standard cleaning and sterilization chemicals (refer to hospital SDS database)
