We are seeking a skilled Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team, responsible for conducting specialized welding inspections, construction observations, and material testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards, such as AWS D1.1 and ASME codes. The role involves performing detailed inspections of welds, verifying weld quality, joint preparation, and welder qualifications, while documenting findings through accurate, professional daily reports. The successful candidate will prepare clear, compliant written inspection reports, directing edits to ensure technical accuracy, adherence to welding standards, and appropriate terminology. Daily coordination with dispatch is essential to confirm inspection schedules and ensure all required welding inspections are efficiently covered.
